For all individuals that live in the United States and occasionally visit the erotic section, you probably know that Craigslist, one of the largest adult classifieds, has eliminated its "adult services" section. Craigslist has also shutdown it's erotic section in Canada.
Approximately 30% of Craigslist's overall income was generated from listings in that adult section. At about $10 per listing, that comes out to an estimated $37 million that Craigslist has lost because of this. For anyone who is curious; that fee is fairly similar to what any major newspaper charges for a similar posting in their own classified area.
